iNQ is an application for File Sharing.

Running over WiFi you can now share, copy, and backup your files to and from your PC / Server or another phone. No other software is necessary! This is a simple standalone File Sharing solution.

This application has both of Client functionality and Server functionality.

Client functionality:
From this application downloaded on to your iPhone, you can access to a shared folder in any SMB-equipped file servers such as Windows PC, Mac PC, NAS, etc...

Server functionality:
On the contrary, you can use this application as a file server as well.
Once you start the Server functionality, you can publish the folders that you have in this application.

This application is made by means of "CIFS NQ™", a commercial SMB module provided by Visuality Systems Ltd.
CIFS NQ™ is a Visualitys original SMB implementation for supporting SMB1.0 and SMB2.0.


Usage:

Using iNQ as Client
iNQ enables the Smart device easy access to the PC/Server storage.
The user can open/edit/save/delete files located in a server. This server may be the PC, another iPhone, whatever..
To connect to a server from iNQ:
1. Connect the iPhone to the WiFi network.
2. Open iNQ App on the iPhone.
3. Go to computers list
4. Press on add new computer
5. Insert:
•Display Name - This is how a new computer will appear in the computers list
•Name or IP of the server to connect to.
•Workgroup - Use "Workgroup" as default unless you are in an alternative Workgroup.
•User name - User name on the server.
•Password – this is the user’s password.
6. Go back to computers list and choose the required computer.
7. You can log in to the server, and access files inside.


Using iNQ as Server
CIFS NQ™ Server turns the Smart device into a wireless/mobile external hard drive.
User can open/edit/save/ delete files located in the iNQ storage from a client. This client may be a computer, another Smart device, whatever..
To enable iNQ as a server and connect to it:
1. Connect the iPhone to the WiFi network.
2. Open iNQ App on the iPhone.
3. Go to settings
4. Ensure Server status is on by enabling Server.
5. Optional - You can insert "Workgroup" and Credentials (User name and password).
6. Connect from the client to the IP shown
7. Use Workgroup and Credentials In case they were inserted.
8. You can log in to iPhone, and access files inside.
